The Joyful Girls Club® is a lifestyle brand dedicated to empowering girls ages 6-12 through inspiring products, meaningful experiences, and a vibrant community. Founded by Aubrey Joy, a seven-year-old from Detroit, MI, and her mom, Cierra Mangal, the Joyful Girls Club began with a simple yet powerful idea—to create a space where girls could feel confident, creative, and celebrated.

Frustrated by the lack of products, music, and experiences designed for girls her age, Aubrey brought her vision to life with the support of her mom. Together, they built the Joyful Girls Club to reflect Aubrey’s name—Joy—and her belief that every girl deserves to feel joyful, inspired, and connected.

At the heart of JGC is our mission to spark confidence, creativity, and life-long friendships while creating joyful moments for girls, and supporting parents and caregivers with helpful resources. From unique gifts, books, stationery, and accessories to fun and luxurious events, everything we offer is designed to cultivate joy, confidence, and connection for girls and their families.

  • Founder & Chief Joy Officer

    As the founder and chief joy officer of the Joyful Girls Club®, Aubrey Joy brings her vibrant imagination and bold leadership to every part of the brand. At just seven years old, she had the vision to create a space where girls like her could feel inspired, celebrated, and connected.

    Aubrey oversees product ideation, event themes, and experiences, ensuring every detail reflects her passion for joy and creativity. From the name and brand foundation to its unique elements, she is the core visionary behind JGC. Known for her no-nonsense attitude and fearless leadership, Aubrey isn’t shy about sharing her big ideas and strategies, inspiring everyone around her to dream bigger and bolder.

    When she’s not brainstorming new products or planning magical events for her BFFs—the members of JGC—you can find Aubrey at dance practice, chess club, or hanging with her family and friends.

  • Co-Founder & Chief Mama Officer

    Cierra Mangal is the co-founder and chief mama officer of the Joyful Girls Club®, where she brings her expertise in strategic marketing and communications to guide the brand’s growth and impact. With nearly 15 years of experience in scaling businesses and creating meaningful connections through storytelling and community building, Cierra is passionate about empowering young girls to embrace their individuality and cultivate joy in their lives.

    As the driving force behind the business operations and vision, Cierra works alongside her daughter and co-founder, Aubrey Joy, to ensure JGC delivers inspiring products, meaningful experiences, and a supportive community for girls and their families. Her leadership, rooted in purpose and inclusivity, fuels the brand’s mission to spark confidence, creativity, and connection for girls ages 6-12.

    When she’s not strategizing the next product launch or curating experiences for JGC, Cierra enjoys spending time with her two children, working on new business ventures, and creating a life filled with love, creativity, and impact.
